Yesterday or the day before yesterday....who cares, I'm on holiday!

We started off the day at the Bridgewater Hospital. Nothing urgent. Greg needed to check out the remains of a tick injury. It occurred on his waistline while he was walking through the bush in Queensland a couple of weeks ago,on the Lutheran Bishops of Australia retreat. He knew it was a tick, because he got one last time he was in Queensland for a wedding. Anyway all is well. It was only a small one and didn't survive tunnelling through his body. It only left a scar that is not infected as Greg had thought.

After coffee and pancakes for breakfast, we were on the hunt for more figurines and small soft toys that can sit up by themselves and plastic musical instruments and more! I have quite a collection now and will stand them all up and take a photo soon. I'm still looking for fairies, angels, hearts, wedding couples, a priest, Jesus, a witch, a queen, a king, a bridge, a fire engine, a small ladder, a little Buddah, a Muslim, and you get the idea! I will explain later!

We ended the day at a place called The Cidery. Delicious tasting of ciders naturally brewed and preserved that left me just a little bit tipsy. We were waiting for the band to arrive but once they set up and started playing it was pretty bland and we made for the door. Nice spot to just sit and chill though.

  1. You are wicked Janet . . I love cider. I had my first drink of scrumpy cider in Devonshire at a 'Scrumpy House' at 19 whilst on a motor bike and sidecar holiday with your Mum when we were 19.
You helped yourself from a big barrel and left the eightpence in a tin on the top.
You are right . . .one pint knocked you out!
