The 'John Butler Trio' and the support band 'Mama King' were brilliant. Would have been about 2000 people all banked up on the hill of a local winery in Denmark WA. Watching everyone including kids, freely dancing and moving, I thought to myself, InterPlay would go off like a cracker down here! At least get a group going in Fremantle.
This morning we went to the annual Denmark arts and crafts market alongside the river.I met some artists whose techniques will probably play a major role in the direction of some of my future artworks. Using encaustic and tree bark resin and also Gesso for textured work.
Greg almost stood on a large grey colored snake that was basking in the sun on a well trodden path near the river campsite. He was in a state of shock for a few minutes after that!
