Sail Away at Coral Bay

Omg! Went out on a sailboat, a catamaran today with a group of tourists and sailed out to the edge of the reef. We then put on flippers and mask and hopped in for one hour of snorkeling. It was even more amazing than before, another planet under the surface of the water. And I swam alongside a turtle in its natural habitat. It was within arms reach! We then all climbed aboard for a BBQ sausage, a cup of tea and a snooze on deck. After that the skipper upped anchor and sailed us to another spot. I was feeling a bit sea sick and was considering not going in again but it was a bit warm sitting in the sun on board and I couldn't resist that clear turquoise blue water. So in I hopped again and was so glad I did! The coral wasn't nearly as colorful as the fish, but it was huge and looked like a garden with huge cauliflower shapes and giant saucer shapes and big cabbage-like shapes, each one layered on the other and I saw a reef shark, the friendly sort:) Also a number of fish with colors and patterns I hadn't seen earlier. I was the last to get back in the boat, but there was no hurry. I jokingly said to Greg that I had never had am orgasm with a snorkel mask on before! The Skipper overheard me and said it was the first time in 5 years he'd heard that comment. Trust me!
Once we were all settled, we slowly sailed back to the shore. A perfect day!
Supposed to be some rain tomorrow. Time to sketch and do some reading I guess. I'm sitting on the beach typing this at 5.30pm so the picture is a bit dull. Goodnight!
