On the road again

Left Kalbarrie about 10am after a yummy breakfast. We had rain and wind all night as we slept in the tent. Apart from the noise from the rain on the tent we were safe and warm.

We had to pack up quick this morning before the next shower but I took a picture of the campsite minus the tent!
Oh well...can't seem to find the pic...probably cos it is on my camera and not my iPhone!! Here are a couple of pics of the long straight road ahead towards Denham in Shark Bay. Greg is driving and listening to music. I'm listening to music too and to Greg and trying to read! Not working....
Ah! A roadhouse, time for a cupper at the billabong roadhouse. See photo. After all the rain it is like a Billabong.
The land is flat now and the soil is red.
It's a great time of the year to travel as there are not too many people on the road or in the cafe's. Wow! The whole back wall of this roadhouse is covered in photos... Better drink up my tea as we still have a long drive. The sun is shining and we have the air con on in
the car. No Internet of course so you'll probably get this next year sometime!
