Camping at Leeman WA

Picturesque drive so far on the coastal highway toward our destination campsite in Dongera WA. Decided to stop at Leeman instead and get the tent up while the weather was calm, before the storm! It's only 5pm and we are snuggled up in our cozy tent. There isn't much to do once the sun goes down on an unpowered sight so we'll be in for an early night I think!

I'm typing this up on my iPhone and it's a bit blurred for me. I persevered with my contact lenses, especially as they only come out ONCE a month to replace with another pair that stay in for the following month and so on. Also I get the optometrist to change them for me so no drama!

Not sure if I mentioned that the Open Day for the Midland art studios was fantastic. I met the other artists in the same building as me. I also sold another painting and have a possible commission and a temporary student. I say temporary because I wasn't planning on taking on any more art students but she was such a lovely person and I said I'd offer her a couple of lessons! Thank you to the beautiful people that came and supported me on the day. It really meant a lot to see some familiar faces.

It's getting dark now, so I'm going to nip across to the caravan park office where they have a hot chocolate machine, then like the birdlife, hop into bed! I hope the family of babbling Asians in the camp kitchen quiet down soon....feels like I'm back in Cambodia!
Oh! Here comes the rain and no hot chocolate....damn!
